A million tales

A million drops
Beheld by cryptic, crimson clouds
Waiting to pour out
Just hoping for a flash of thunder
To share their tales
Of travel, of heartbreak
A million sounds
Beheld by blissful babies
Waiting to cry out
Just hoping for a mother’s touch
To share their tales
Of dreams, of innocence
A million thoughts
Beheld by passionate poets
Waiting to spill out
Just hoping for a glass of whiskey
To share their tales
Of longings, of darkness.
